Extent of Donald Trump’s dark hand bruising revealed days after he covered it up

Odd bruises spotted on Donald Trump’s right hand have reignited speculation about his health. The 79-year-old president appeared to conceal the marks with makeup during recent events, keeping his left hand folded over his right. The White House and Trump’s physician, Sean Barbabella, dismissed concerns, attributing the bruises to frequent handshakes and aspirin use.

Press secretary Karoline Leavitt added that Trump shakes hands with more Americans “than any other president in history.” Still, observers noted he was also photographed with swollen ankles earlier this month. The White House previously disclosed that Trump has chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a common but benign condition in older adults that can cause swelling and skin issues.

Despite questions, Trump insists he is in “excellent health,” while critics suggest his team downplays visible signs of aging.
